Steps to activate the watchdog
First, make sure the driver is either compiled in the kernel, or as a module. Follow these steps to compile the driver.
Load the module, if required with
modprobe w83877f_wdt
Compile this program and run permanently by adding "/root/watchdog &" to /etc/rc.local
