Some workflows that are applicable to research enviroments

Upcoming and alpha/beta/candidate releases

Alpha releases should only be used for testing and development.
Beta releases and Release Candidates are normally released for production testing, but should not be used on mission-critical sites.
Always install on a separate test server first, and make sure you have proper backups before installing.

This release adds some more features as well as bug fixes and a better installer

This release focuses on adding configuration and install scripts. Aswell as some features which are very useful.

Research Enviroment Workflows 1.0alpha (Alpha release) Released 2006-05-17

This is an initial release it has not been properly tested.

Project resources

This product aims to create a group of workflows that will be useful for research enviroments.

Documents inherit the workflow state from the parent if possible.

Private (the default state)
Internal (members/viewers can see the document)
Pending (anyone can uses this state to have a document reviewed for public display)
Authorised (the public can see the document, has to be reviewed)

Weblog entrys inherit the workflow state from the parent if possible.

Public (unauthorised public display)
Pending Review (anyone can uses this state to have a document reviewed for public display)
Published (visible to the public, has to be set by manager/reviewer)
